Hey hunters 👋 I've sent a lot of pitch decks. Every time, the same black hole: hit send, then guess. Did they open it? Did they bail on slide 3? Did the deck even make it past the forward to the partner who actually decides? The existing tools answer some of that, but they all live outside where the deck is made. You export, re-upload, manage a separate link, and the analytics sit in a dashboard you forget to check. The deck and the data never live in the same place. So I built Deky as the link layer that sits closest to the work. One tracked link. You see opens, time-per-slide, and forwards in real time — including the part nobody else shows you: which slide actually held attention before they made a decision. The thing that surprised me while building it: the most useful signal wasn't "who opened it," it was "where they stopped." That reframed the whole product around the slide, not the document. It's $5/month. No per-seat nonsense, no enterprise call to get started. Would genuinely love feedback from anyone who lives in decks — founders, sales, design. What's the one thing you wish you knew after hitting send?

Who hunted Deky?

Deky was hunted by Austin McDaniel. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
