Hi Product Hunt! We're Yando, a small software studio in Singapore. We make DejaVu, and MoreRoom, a storage manager for Mac. When Rewind stopped recording in December 2025, a lot of people lost a tool they relied on every day. We wanted it back, without having to trust someone else's server. So DejaVu follows three rules: • Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no server to shut down. • Never audio, never keystrokes, never password fields. Private windows and banking are excluded by default. • You always know when it's on. The menu bar shows it, pausing takes one click, and you can erase the last five minutes. It's written in Swift on Apple's own frameworks (ScreenCaptureKit, Vision, the hardware video encoder). Your memory is encrypted with a key kept in your Mac's secure chip, and Touch ID is required to look back. Pricing: free to start. Pro is $79 once, or $9 a month. We'd love your honest feedback: what would make you trust a screen-memory app?
