Hi PH - solo dev here. I built Deforget because I needed it for work and nothing out there did the exact things I wanted - reminders and calendar events pulled straight out of what I write, an index of the people I deal with, and above all, getting notified before a meeting with the notes I'd written for it. Then I realized it works for my personal life too, so here we are.
Deforget's deal: you just write. The on-device model (Apple Intelligence) quietly picks out the promises you made, the plans you mentioned, the people, the meeting notes - they become colored highlights in your text, real Reminders and Calendar events, and an index of your life you can browse. No confirmations, no forms, no chatbot. If the extraction is wrong, you dismiss it with one tap and it stays gone.
The privacy part is structural, not a promise: App Privacy label is "Data Not Collected." There are no servers. Sync is your private iCloud database - I couldn't read your diary if I wanted to.
The diary is free forever (writing, reading, sync, export - never gated). The intelligence is $2.99/month, $29.99/yr, or $59.99 lifetime ($44.99 launch price until the end of October) after a 7-day trial. Needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an M-series iPad or Mac - the on-device model is real and it needs real hardware.
