Decluttr

Swipe through your tabs. Keep what matters. Ditch the rest.

Decluttr turns your new tab page into a swipe card for every open tab — Tinder, but for browser tabs. ← Close • → Keep • ↑ Save for later Works across ALL windows at once, surfaces stale tabs first, full keyboard support (U to undo). Why another tab manager? OneTab buries tabs in lists you never revisit. Tab Wrangler auto-closes without asking. Workona needs workspaces first. Free, open source (MIT), zero telemetry. Chrome + Firefox.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Chris here, the developer who built Decluttr. I built this because I had 80 tabs open and no existing tool made the actual decision process fast enough. OneTab gives you a list you never revisit. Tab Wrangler closes without asking. Workona is powerful but requires setup before it helps you. The swipe metaphor clicked because the same thing that makes Tinder work is what makes this work: you're not organizing, you're deciding. One at a time. That's cognitively very different from staring at a list and trying to bulk-manage. A few things I'm quietly proud of: • Works across ALL your open windows simultaneously — not just the current one • Stale tabs float to the top by default (the ones you opened 3 weeks ago and forgot) • Zero telemetry — nothing about your browsing leaves your device • MIT licensed — the full source is on GitHub and fully auditable What I'd love your help with: - Does the click-drag swipe feel natural on desktop? (It's not touch-native, so I'd love feedback) - Any feature you'd pay $9.99 one-time for? (Thinking session history / cross-device sync for a future Pro tier) Source is at github.com/CytSoftware/decluttr — PRs and issues welcome. Thanks for the support! 🙏
