I believe that success depends on how well you communicate your thoughts.
As a PM at a high-growth company, I make presentations quite often. Not to fake work, but to communicate ideas. It takes a lot of my time to structure a presentation that would convey a message in a simple & elegant manner to hit my goal.
There are over 100 presentation apps offering hundreds of design templates.
Yet, it is still extremely hard & time-consuming to create a presentation that will hit your goal - budget or hire approval, successful product pitch, quarterly results report, etc.
By why?
1) These tools are focused on visuals, not content. They don't help you to tailor your content to your goal, audience & style of communication.
2) Plus, they require you to leave your tool of preference - PowerPoint, Figma, Miro, Keynote and use theirs. But, honestly, who wants to learn how to use another tool?
So, I & my friend created Deckster. Deckster already helps us to make sure each presentation hits the goal. And it helps us to spend much less time on preparation.
