DealBots
One real deal a day, picked by AI, not ads
DealBots reads trending posts from Slickdeals, Reddit and affiliate price data, filters out unclear pricing and hidden catches, and checks price history to pick one genuinely good deal each day. One click from your toolbar. Free, no account, no tracking.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Lewie. Some of you may remember Net-Tools.io. This is my new side project, DealBots.
Why I built it: I love a good deal, but I've come to hate deal sites. Half the "70% off" tags are off a price nobody ever paid, there's a countdown timer on everything, and the feeds never end. Meanwhile, communities like Slickdeals and Reddit already surface the real bargains. You just have to wade through hundreds of posts to find them.
What it does: DealBots does the wading for you and gives you one deal a day.
1. It gathers trending deal posts from Slickdeals and Reddit, plus affiliate price data with price history.
2. AI throws out anything with unclear pricing or hidden catches, then ranks what's left by the real discount (compared with price history, not the "was" price) and rising demand.
3. You click the toolbar icon and see today's pick with a short, plain-English note on why it made the cut. If it's not for you, "see other deals" shows the rest of the day's list.
No account, no tracking, no notifications. It's free.
What I'd love feedback on:
- Is one deal a day the right amount, or would you want categories or filters?
- Does the "why it made the cut" note make you trust the pick more?
- What would make you keep a deal extension pinned?
Transparency: some links are affiliate links. If you buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's how DealBots stays free, and it never affects which deal gets picked.
What changed thanks to early feedback: every pick is now dated, and if the feed hasn't updated or there's no good pick, the popup says so instead of passing off yesterday's deal as today's. It's on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
Thanks for taking a look. I'll be here all day answering every comment. 🙏
