Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Dayhelm because I was the problem it was trying to solve.
Living with depression, anxiety, and the scattered focus that comes with ADHD, I kept downloading wellbeing apps hoping something would finally stick. Every single one pushed me harder on the days I had nothing left — streaks to maintain, habits to log, goals to hit. The guilt made hard days worse.
The problem I wanted to solve: what if an app could detect when you're struggling and back off instead of piling on?
That became Dayhelm — a wellbeing app that meets you where you are, not where you think you should be. It monitors your mood and automatically simplifies your day when things stack up against you. No broken streaks. No guilt. Just one micro-step at a time when you need it most.
The app evolved a lot in the build. I started with journaling and check-ins. Then added Hard Day Detection after noticing patterns in my own data. Therapy Pre-Briefs came from wasting half my therapy sessions just catching my therapist up. Break Freeze came from the days I genuinely couldn't move — a very real ADHD and depression experience.
Crisis tools are always free. No paywall. Ever. That was never up for debate.
Would love honest feedback — what resonates, what's missing, what could be clearer.
Available on Android now. iOS coming soon.
