Hey everyone, Prasenjit here.
I built Dateup because I kept hearing the same thing from friends "I'm not getting matches" and every time I looked at their profiles, the fix was obvious. Bad lighting, awkward crop, generic bio, zero conversation game. They weren't unattractive, their profiles were just letting them down.
So I thought what if AI could just fix all of that?
Dateup has three tools:
- Photo Enhancer: upload a dating photo and AI improves the lighting, background, and retouching
- Rizz Assistant: paste a match's bio and get tailored openers and replies
- Profile Reviewer: get a full audit of your profile with specific things to fix
The trickiest part was getting AI photo editing to actually preserve what someone looks like while making the photo noticeably better went through 4 different AI providers before landing on something that works consistently.
Plans start at $4/month because I wanted this to be cheaper than a single bad coffee date.
