Datamata Studios
Live tech career data & free developer utilities.
Datamata Studios combines dev tools with live job market intelligence. Free Tier: 20+ dev utilities + live tech skill rankings, 7-day trend signals, and role demand scraped from public ATS APIs (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby). Pro Tier: Unlocks 30-day timelines, salary intelligence, company hiring velocity, and skills gap workflows. One place for useful developer utilities and real tech career market signals.
I built Datamata Studios because I wanted two things in one place: genuinely useful developer tools and a better way to understand what the tech job market is actually asking for.
Most utility collections stop at the tools. Most career products stop at generic advice. Datamata combines both.
Under the hood, the trends layer queries public ATS job board APIs from Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. It extracts skill signals from active listings, normalizes them, and turns them into live rankings.
The free product includes:
20+ browser-based developer and data utilities
Live tech skill power rankings and 7-day movers
Top roles by category
Skill pages with context around demand, salary, and co-occurring skills
A public methodology page explaining how the data is collected
The Pro layer unlocks deeper 30-day timelines, company intelligence, and workflow tools, but I wanted the free product to stand on its own first.
Would love feedback on three things:
Which free utilities should be added next?
Which market signals matter most to you?
What would make the data more trustworthy or useful?
I'll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer any technical questions.
