Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Robert, a product designer, and I built Data Privacy Agent because I was tired of the thing we've all just accepted: every site now opens with a cookie wall where "Accept all" is one bright button, and refusing means digging through two or three menus — if the option is there at all.
Most cookie tools just hide the banner. This one actually does the refusing. It rejects consent banners automatically on 200+ platforms, and — the part I'm proudest of — when a site buries the free "Reject" behind a "manage options" maze, it walks the maze and says no for you.
Two things it does that I haven't seen elsewhere: • Pay-or-consent walls (the "pay €5/mo or accept tracking" screens spreading across EU media) get flagged, with a plain explanation of your rights — nobody can auto-reject those, so instead of failing silently it tells you what's happening. • No-decline notices (banners with literally no reject button) get hidden, and it tells you honestly: "this site gave you no way to say no — we hid it anyway."
It's free, and the rejection layer always will be. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no login, your browsing history never leaves your device. The only data is anonymous counters, and the optional coverage reporting is off by default.
It's built on the open-source Consent-O-Matic engine from Aarhus University, extended with a live rule service so when a site changes its banner, the fix reaches everyone within hours instead of waiting for a store update.

(There's a paid tier coming later that goes further — filing data-deletion requests to the trackers it finds, on your behalf — but that's not what today is about. Today is the free thing.)
