Hi Product Hunt 👋
Daily Care started from a simple observation: we often care deeply about the people around us, but everyday life gets busy, and staying in touch can easily slip through the cracks, especially with aging parents and loved ones we don’t see every day.
This happened to my family: one morning, my grandmother fell and broke both of her arms when she woke up, and without access to her phone, we couldn’t reach her for many hours. We didn’t know what had happened because she didn’t want cameras or ugly jewelry to warn us if there was a problem. Fortunately, my cousins and I often call her and visit her, so she only stayed on the ground for a few hours before we realized something was wrong and were able to call for help.
But it led my brother and me to think about how some people don’t have the same level of contact with their aging loved ones, so we decided to build Daily Care. A way for families to stay in touch with their loved ones when they know they won’t be able to call them.
The product is pretty simple. An AI assistant calls your loved ones several times a week, you decide how often, and has a basic conversation with them. It remembers your loved one’s preferences, what they said in previous calls, and what you said when you configured the product.
The goal is not to replace real conversations with family, but to make sure there is still some contact when life gets busy. We’re still improving Daily Care, so I’d really love to hear what you think and whether this is something you could see yourself using with someone in your family. ❤️
