Dabadoro
Free desktop study planner and focus timer with rewards
Dabadoro puts a to-do list, habit tracker, Pomodoro focus timer, and day planner in one window. Finished tasks and habits pay coins for rewards you set. Free on Windows, macOS, and Linux. A free account syncs your data.
Hey Product Hunt! Dabadoro is a solo, long development journey that started in 2019 with an idea of making schedule planning rewarding.
I kept my list in one app, my habits in another and the timer in a browser tab. None of them knew what I had finished. A tick felt like a small reward after a hard afternoon, so I built one app where finishing earns a treat I choose.
Drag a task onto your day.
Pick it and press Space. The timer runs on that task.
Finish it, and earn the coins you set on it, 10 by default. Time earns XP.
Spend the coins on rewards you set, like bubble tea.
Habits pay coins too. Days off a habit's schedule never break the streak.
New in 1.2 is a floating timer that stays on top of your other windows. Daba, the mascot, now walks new people to their first coins in five small steps.
It's free on Windows, macOS and Linux. The Windows installer is light. A free account syncs your data. Saved on your computer first, then synced over TLS to your free account. Works offline after the first sign-in. macOS asks once before the first launch.
There's an AI Command Centre too. One free programme a day from 8 experts. You review and edit before adding. The free plan shows occasional promotions. Optional Pro and Max plans will remove the promotions and add AI programmes. The core app stays free.
No install? The web timer at dabadoro.com/pomodoro-timer/ is free and needs no account. It keeps its own data, so tasks don't carry over.
I'm here all day for feedback and bug reports. What's the first reward you'd set, and how many coins would it cost?
