CYPHER

Unlock The Vault

CYPHER turns sneaker culture into a collectible card game. Pull digital cards of real grails — Off-White AJ1s, SB Dunks, Yeezys — from themed packs with 6 rarity tiers and serial-numbered supply caps. Complete sets to unlock ceremony-exclusive rewards, showcase your best pulls in a 3D-style vault, and trade card-for-card with other collectors on an anonymous marketplace. Real market prices, real sneaker history, no blockchain. Built solo by a sneakerhead, for sneakerheads.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ashton, a solo dev and lifelong sneakerhead. I grew a sneaker TikTok to 30K followers and kept hearing the same thing: people miss when sneaker culture felt like collecting, not just reselling. So I spent the last year of nights and weekends building CYPHER — a trading card game where the cards are real sneakers. Every card carries actual retail/resale pricing and release history. Rare pulls are serial-numbered with hard supply caps (only 1,000 of any Holy Grail will ever exist (Holy Grail cards are the highest of value in CYPHER). Complete a themed set and you unlock a ceremony-exclusive reward card that can't be pulled from any pack. The whole thing is Swift/SwiftUI, StoreKit 2, and a Supabase backend — no engine, no template, every animation hand-built. This is v1.1, live on the App Store now. I'd genuinely love feedback from this community — especially on the trading marketplace, which is the part I'm most proud of and most nervous about. Ask me anything, I'll be here all day.
