CVSmith
The workspace that writes and tracks your job applications
Job hunting: forty tabs, one tired CV, a spreadsheet you gave up on. Teal and Huntr track applications but leave the writing to you. Jobscan and Rezi polish one resume but skip the pipeline. CVSmith is one workspace that does both: - Save a job → it becomes a tailored application - A resume rewritten for that exact role - A cover letter that fits — not a template - A fit score + ATS check when you need it - A board you move from saved → applied → offer from $9/mo, free to start.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mickey, the solo founder of CVSmith.
Six months ago I launched CVSmith here as an ATS resume checker. It did the job — paste a posting, paste your CV, get a match score. But watching how people actually used it, the checker was solving a sliver of the real problem. The grind isn't one resume against one job. It's the whole hunt: forty applications, a different CV for each, a cover letter you rewrite from scratch every time, and a tracking spreadsheet you abandoned two weeks in.
So I rebuilt it. CVSmith is now a workspace for the entire job hunt. Save a job and it becomes a tailored application — a CV rewritten for that specific role, a cover letter drafted to match, a fit score, and an ATS check when you want one. Every application sits on a board you move from saved to applied to interview to offer, so you always know where you stand and what you sent to whom.
Where it fits: trackers like Teal and Huntr organize the hunt but leave the writing to you. Optimizers like Jobscan and Rezi sharpen one document but give you no pipeline. CVSmith does both — the tailoring and the tracking — in one place, for $9/mo.
It's still early and I'm building it solo, so I'd really value your eyes on it, especially if you're job hunting right now. Try it, push on it, tell me what's missing. I'm here all day and every comment gets a reply.

Who hunted CVSmith?
CVSmith was hunted by Mickey Drozd. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
