I built CVCompose around one frustrated observation: most CV builders are either paywalled, require an account before you can do anything, or treat AI as a premium upsell.
CVCompose flips that. The AI Assistant is the main way to work — you type what you want ("rewrite my experience section for a senior role", "shorten everything to one page", "translate to German") and it does it directly inside the builder. No prompts to copy-paste, no switching tabs. CV Review, Job Match, AI Import, AI Translate — all free, all available before you create an account, because there is no account to create.
A few things I made deliberate decisions about:
• No login required - ever. You build, use AI, and download without touching a sign-up form.
• Your data never leaves your browser. Everything processes locally - no CV content is sent to or stored on a server.
• No subscription. Free tier gets you the full builder and all AI tools. Paid options are one-time only - no recurring charges.
• ATS-friendly templates - tested against real applicant tracking systems, not just designed to look clean.
The target user is someone mid-job-search who needs a solid CV fast, doesn't want to hand over their personal history to another SaaS, and isn't looking for another monthly charge.
