Her resume was good. The problem was that the parser turned her two-column layout into scrambled text, and no tool told her that.
Every ATS checker I tried gave me a number. None of them showed me the input that number was based on. So I built the thing I wanted:
What it does
Shows the raw extraction — email, phone, links, detected sections, page and table structure. If something is unreadable here, it's unreadable everywhere.
Paste a job posting and it returns the exact share of key terms your resume covers, with both lists visible: what you have, what's missing. This ratio is string matching in code. The model never invents the number.
Scores how measurable your achievements are, and flags bullets written as job duties instead of results.
Flags fields that are standard in some countries but disqualifying in others — photo, date of birth, marital status — if you're applying abroad.
What it doesn't do
It isn't the ATS your target company uses. Parsers differ. What breaks in mine is a strong signal, not a verdict.
It won't rewrite your resume for you. It tells you where the gaps are.
On privacy: no account, no email wall. Your file is processed in memory and never written to disk. Anonymous counters only — number of analyses, duration, error type.
