Top comment

I built Curious Crow - 24 hand-picked websites - weird, creative, interactive, and genuinely interesting - one click at a time. You hover a card to peek, click to go, and end up somewhere you didn't expect. It started as a proof of concept for an academic paper I'm writing on what I'm calling "Hedonic Vertical Search Engines" - search built for pleasure and discovery rather than task completion. The idea is that every vertical search engine built so far (flights, jobs, shopping) serves utilitarian intent. Nobody has built verticals for hedonic intent. Curious Crow is my attempt at the first one. The honest truth about where it is right now: → Single HTML file deployed on Vercel → 24 sites in the database, all hand-picked → Built on zero budget by a student on weekends But the concept feels real — and I'd love to know if it resonates. Three things I'd genuinely love your input on: → What sites should I add next? → What's missing from the experience? → Does the "discover without searching" concept make sense to you? Thank you for checking it out. Every comment means a lot 🐦‍⬛
