CueVault
Never lose good moments in a long YouTube video
You watch hours of YouTube and remember almost none of it. CueVault fixes that — one tap saves the exact moment (timestamp + transcript), AI-titles it, and builds a library you can search by meaning. Describe what you half-remember; jump straight back to it.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Channa, the solo maker behind CueVault.
I watch a lot of long-form YouTube — podcasts, lectures, talks. And I kept hitting the same wall: I'd hear one genuinely brilliant point in hour two… and a week later have no way to find it again. Re-scrubbing a 3-hour video to relocate 40 seconds is miserable. So I built the tool I wished existed.
What it does: while you're watching, tap one button (or Shift+B). CueVault grabs the timestamp + the transcript around that moment, writes a clean AI title and summary, and drops it into a personal library. The part I'm proudest of — you can search that library by meaning. Type "the bit about position sizing" or "why we forget what we watch," and it surfaces the right clip even if those exact words were never said — then jumps you back to the exact second.
It's deliberately not a summarizer (we have enough of those). It's about capture + recall — turning hours of watching into something you can actually retrieve.
Who it's for — anyone who learns on YouTube:
📚 Students & self-learners — save the lecture explanation that finally clicked; find it the night before the exam.
🔬 Researchers & knowledge workers — keep the insight, stat, or quote with its source timestamp attached.
📈 Investors & traders — a 2-hour market breakdown has one setup you need; save it and search straight to it.
🎧 Podcast & deep-dive listeners — capture that one line in hour two without scrubbing back.
Your library is local-first (lives on your device, no account needed). Free for your first 50 moments; Pro is $5.99/mo or $39.99/yr if you live in long-form. Cloud sync is next on the roadmap.
I'd genuinely love your feedback — what would make this a daily tool for you? I'm here all day. 🙏
