CSV Signal

Turn order CSVs into a clear weekly business report

CSV Signal is a local Python tool for solo founders and operators who export orders to CSV. It compares the latest week with the previous one, calculates net revenue, orders, AOV, refund rate, and top products, then flags revenue drops, refund spikes, and product concentration. It generates Markdown and HTML reports with no dashboard, API key, account, or data upload.

Top comment

I built CSV Signal after repeatedly exporting order data and manually comparing revenue, refunds, and top products every week. I wanted a deliberately small, local-first tool: give it a documented normalized order CSV and it produces a readable weekly report without requiring a dashboard, account, API key, or data upload. For this first release, I intentionally did not add Shopify or Stripe-specific importers. I want to learn which platforms and CSV formats people actually use before building integrations. If you inspect order exports regularly, I’d love to hear which metrics you check first and what your workflow looks like.

Who hunted CSV Signal?

CSV Signal was hunted by 김연준. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
