Hi Product Hunt! I'm the maker of CST+.
I built it because spinning up a proper 24/7 linear TV channel usually means an expensive cloud platform or heavy broadcast gear. CST+ lets you do it on your own VPS. You point a channel at a folder of videos, it normalizes them once with ffmpeg, then loops them as a continuous broadcast using packet-copy (no re-encoding). Each channel runs at roughly 1 to 2 percent of one CPU core and about 54 MB of RAM, so a small server can run many at once.
It also has a schedule mode with a clock-accurate EPG, server-side ad insertion if you want to monetize, Xtream/HLS output so it plays on basically any device, geo-blocking and access control, and a multi-server fleet mode. Install and updates are a single command, and live channels keep streaming through an update.
