Claim a free Cell on a Wall anyone can take over

Hi PH, I'm Arturs, a solo maker in Latvia. Critical Bananas is a Wall of 100 Cells. It's a real advertising product with a slightly unhinged backstory: in our fictional world it's one of George's get-rich-quick schemes. George is a first-year student at Rivermont Valley University. The Wall, the payments and the rules are real.

How it works

  • Pick a Cell, add an image, a title and a link, and it appears immediately.

  • Empty Cells are free to claim. You can hold 3 free Cells at a time.

  • Occupied Cells can be taken over at the displayed price. The first takeover of a free Cell is EUR 4, and each later takeover costs double the last price.

  • A paid takeover is protected from the next takeover for 1 hour per price step, up to 12 hours. That protection is what the price pays for.

The money, plainly

  • If someone takes over your Cell, they pay you your price back plus 25%. For a free Cell, the bonus is EUR 3.

  • Example: buy for EUR 8, and if someone later takes over for EUR 16, they pay you your EUR 8 back plus EUR 2.

  • A later buyer is never guaranteed. Critical Bananas does not pay you. The taker does.

  • Payments run through Whop. The previous owner is the seller, and Whop handles checkout.

  • Critical Bananas keeps the rest of each takeover price as its platform fee.

  • Each Wall ends in the Great Peel, after all 100 Cells are occupied and the Wall's value target is met (Wall 1: EUR 2,048). The Wall is archived and a fresh one opens. The Peel pays nothing.

What I'd love feedback on

  1. Is the mechanic clear in under 30 seconds?

  2. Would you put a real project on a Cell, even if nobody takes it over?

  3. What would make you trust, or distrust, the takeover and payback terms?

  4. Anything that looks off on mobile?

I'll be here all day answering everything.
