Crisis Connect
Offline emergency messaging without internet
Crisis Connect helps people stay reachable when networks fail. It uses Bluetooth-based device-to-device communication to send encrypted messages, voice notes, live location, and SOS signals to nearby phones — without internet, SIM, cellular signal, or local infrastructure.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Emirhan, a 17-year-old founder from Istanbul and the maker of Crisis Connect.
I built Crisis Connect after thinking about one simple problem: in a disaster, communication infrastructure can fail exactly when people need it most. Internet, cellular networks, and local infrastructure may become unavailable, but nearby phones can still communicate directly.
Crisis Connect is an offline-first emergency communication app that uses Bluetooth-based device-to-device communication to send encrypted messages, voice notes, location, and SOS signals to nearby devices — without internet, SIM, or cellular service.
The app is live on both the App Store and Google Play, and the source code is public on GitHub.
AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex helped me move faster with debugging, refactoring, and iteration. But the core architecture, product direction, and emergency communication logic behind Crisis Connect were designed and led by me.
I’d love your feedback on the product, positioning, and what features would make this more useful for families, volunteers, and emergency teams.
