Hey PH! This product came about after my family watched a Living Will fail a close family member. The discussion we should have had didn't happen because "hey she has a living will, so we're good". Watching my children handle trauma that quite possibly could have been avoided or at least delayed a while was gut wrenching.
My choices were limited when I started to do some research for this project and that made an easy decision for me, to make it free and free forever. Documents created on my site should still be run through your attorney if you have one, but it's a great place to start if you have the luxury of your own attorney.
In the end I built a guided tool that is legally correct in 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico and the USVI (thank you AI). After you walk through the steps of the tool you're given the option of downloading your living will as a PDF or a word document if you want to change it up. No data is kept on my server, all your data is gone the second you close the tab because it lives in it's own session and once the session is gone, your data is purged.
