Monroe
A companion for the golden age of television
Monroe is the first TV tracker with a personal AI that tells you why a show fits you, not just what's trending. Get per-user match scores with pros/cons, a "What Critics Are Saying" synthesis from news sources, and talent-based show connections that surface hidden gems through shared creators and cast.
Every tracker tells you what you're watching but Monroe will tell you why it'll click for you.
I had originally built this as a way to just keep track of what I was watching (as you can see from the screenshots, I had a lot of shows to keep track of...probably too much). But what I really wanted was a system that read the reviews, knew my taste, and gave me a verdict. Basically like a personalized Rotten Tomatoes. It started as a simple watchlist, then grew a chat agent, then per-show match insights, then critics synthesis. Each layer revealed the next gap — the product kept evolving from "track shows" to "understand shows," one question at a time.
It's been a fun journey and has become a helpful tool for me. Hopefully it'll be helpful for you :)

Who hunted Monroe?
Monroe was hunted by Benjamin Gregory. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
