CounselClip solves this by generating a 60-second video explainer directly from a document already in Clio - one click, no separate upload or re-typing anything. It extracts the text, writes a plain-English script, and renders a branded avatar video that gets uploaded back to the matter automatically.
A few things that shaped the approach along the way:
We built this specifically for Clio workflows rather than as a generic tool, since that's where the documents already live
Videos are vertical (1080×1920) so they're easy for clients to watch and share on a phone
No stock b-roll or extra production - just the attorney's message, explained clearly, with a disclaimer that it's an explanation and not legal advice
