Cortile
AI Security for Startups and Vibecoders
Cortile is an AI-powered security workspace for startups and vibecoders. Whether you are heads-down building and want to know you are handling user data responsibly, or getting real security questions from customers and want to answer with confidence, Cortile meets you where you are. It is built around your actual risk, so by the time you are compliant, you are actually protected too.
Before founding Cortile, I worked in Security Risk at F500 fintech and proptech companies. Part of my work involved security reviews of the vendors we were evaluating, and I kept seeing the same thing. A startup would submit a SOC 2 report, often from a certain YC-backed compliance platform that has been in the news recently, and on paper everything looked great. But the policies were clearly way outsized for a fifteen-person startup, and it was obvious they weren't being followed. I saw it cost them deals with us, and a lot of those founders probably thought they and their clients' data were secure because they had the certificate, when they really weren't. That is what sparked the idea for Cortile.
My co-founder Nik had been watching the same thing from the other side. As COO of an MSSP, he spent years building and running security programs for startups and small teams, and he saw firsthand how poorly the existing platforms served them. Together, we decided to build something better.
One of the things that became obvious as we started working on Cortile is that there is no truly self-service security and GRC platform on the market. The existing tools either don't actually make you more secure, or they require someone on your team to do the real work, or they rely on a person at the software company doing the work for you behind the scenes. None of that is self-service, and none of it works for an early-stage team that is trying to ship.
Cortile helps you build real security without needing to become a security expert, and gives you a program you can actually show customers and stand behind. We built it to make vibe-security possible, so the team shipping the product can own the security too.
If that sounds like something you could use, you can sign up and try Cortile for free today. I would love for you to give it a shot and tell me what you think.

Who hunted Cortile?
Cortile was hunted by Owen Rice. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
