Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m the founder of Core, and I originally started building it because I wanted health tracking to feel simpler. I’ve always found it strange that looking after your health can mean paying and jumping between different apps for your food, workouts, weight, water, routes and everything else and even after tracking all of that, you’re mostly just left looking at numbers. So I started building what I actually wanted to use: a health tracker with a personal health assistant built into it. With Core, you can track your everyday health in one place, but you can also actually talk to it. You can ask Core to log your food, plan you a walk, run or cycle, analyse a meal from a photo, find nutrition information, create a recipe, update your goals, or help you understand your progress. I’ve built it around iPhone, Apple Watch and Apple Health, and there’s still a lot more I want to do with it. One thing that was important to me was making Core genuinely usable for free. The free version isn’t a trial and there are absolutely no ads. You can track your activity, food, water, weight and progress, use Free Roam GPS tracking, join events, and you still get a monthly allowance of Core’s AI features. You only need Premium if you want much higher AI and route limits. I’m self-funding Core at the moment, so getting it to this point has involved a lot of building, changing things, breaking things and figuring things out as I go 😅 But the idea I keep coming back to is pretty simple: I want Core to eventually feel like having your own personal health assistant in your pocket. I’d really appreciate any feedback — good or bad. And if you try Core, I’d especially love to know what you’d want your personal health assistant to be able to do next.
