Copylight
A calm, local-first clipboard manager for Windows
Find, edit, pin, and organize copied text, images, code, and JSON without leaving your workflow. Copylight stays local-first, needs no account, and opens with a keyboard shortcut when you need it.
I built Copylight because Windows clipboard history was good for recovering the last thing I copied, but not for keeping useful snippets as part of a real workflow. I wanted one small panel where I could search old text and images, pin the important ones, group related clips, edit text before pasting, and clean up JSON without opening another tool. Copylight stores clips locally and does not require an account. I would especially love feedback on the panel workflow and the developer tools.

Copylight was hunted by Jaesang Song. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
