After almost four months without work, I was convinced AI was why I couldn't find any CRM design/developer jobs. Diving into Claude Code was me finding out for myself. I just wanted a faster way to reuse HTML email blocks without tabbing between files all day. Tried Espanso, couldn't get on with everything needing a shortcut I'd never remember. Tried Ditto, couldn't get past the dated interface. So I built my own. It grew from a snippet tool into multi-select and a paste queue, then I realised other devs dealing with the same reused code every day might want it too. Added language detection, then screenshot capture with editable annotations once I noticed I was running a separate tool for that anyway. Built with Tauri, React, TypeScript and Rust. Everything's local, Windows only, no account or cloud sync. Free tier, Pro is $29 once, no subscription. Any feedback, good or bad, welcome.

Who hunted Copychest?
Copychest was hunted by Leo Luis. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
