Convincer
Product rankings won in public trial, not bought
Most product rankings are ads with a leaderboard skin. Convincer flips that: every position is taken from whoever holds it, in a public trial with graded evidence and a jury that publishes its reasoning. File a dossier (including what you don’t do), challenge someone within reach, argue on six criteria. Five of seven AI jurors are drawn by lottery so you can’t write to a known panel. Early days — categories mostly vacant. If you’re tired of buying badges, take a seat the hard way.
I built Convincer because I stopped believing most “#1 in X” badges.
They get bought, farmed, or handed out. I wanted a board where rank only moves when someone beats the product sitting there — with evidence that gets graded, and a jury that has to explain itself.
How it works: you enter at the bottom, challenge anyone up to 3 places above you, file a real case (thesis, arguments, at least one concession), and five of seven AI jurors score both sides. Paid placement isn’t a feature. Silence from a defender gets a weak auto-defense and a candor hit.
It’s early. One product on the ladder so far, most #1 seats vacant. If you’ve got a product you’d put through that kind of fight, I’d love a blunt take on the rules — what’s fair, what’s too harsh, what you’d never trust.

Who hunted Convincer?
Convincer was hunted by Oleks. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
