ContextDeck
Turn any document into AI-ready Markdown, 100% local
Convert PDF, Office files, source code and 40+ formats to clean Markdown for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. 100% local on Windows, free to start.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built ContextDeck because every time I needed to feed a PDF, a Word doc, or a folder of code into Claude or ChatGPT, I ended up with messy copy-paste, broken tables, or a cloud converter I didn't trust with the file.
ContextDeck runs entirely on your Windows PC — it converts PDF, Office files, source code and 40+ formats into clean, AI-ready Markdown. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. Pro adds local OCR for scanned PDFs, audio/YouTube transcription to Markdown, and combined context packs when you need to hand an AI multiple documents at once.
Free plan: 3 files per batch, 30 conversions/month, no account needed. Pro is $3/mo if you need unlimited batches.
Built this after AirGapScribe (my other local-first tool) — same rule: if it touches your files, it stays on your machine. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's fought with cloud PDF converters mangling their tables and headings.
