Composit
A creative surface for visual discovery
Composit is an intentionally different kind of creative tool—part moodboard, part discovery engine. Instead of searching for specific references, explore curated imagery, typography and textures through colour, then remix them on an open creative surface. Built to create more unstructured, experimental time in the process and spark unexpected visual collisions.
I'm Craig, founder of Composit.
I built Composit because I felt the creative process had become too efficient, too predictable, and too driven by search.
Most platforms help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Composit is designed to help you discover what you weren’t.
It’s a creative surface where you can explore curated imagery, typography and textures through colour, then pull them into a project and experiment freely. Think somewhere between a moodboard, a studio wall, and a discovery engine.
A few things that make it different:
• Discover references by colour, not keywords
• Remix and experiment on a large open canvas
• Share public boards or fork others’ projects
• Always links back to original image sources
It’s still early and evolving, but the initial response has been really encouraging. Would love to hear what you think, and happy to answer any questions or take feature requests here.
Thanks for checking it out

Who hunted Composit?
Composit was hunted by Craig Ward. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
