I built Compliance OS after spending years watching privacy officers, often a department of one, try to run a HIPAA program across five disconnected spreadsheets. Risk items in one file, vendor BAAs in another, breach deadlines tracked in someone's email inbox.
The problem isn't a lack of effort. It's that nothing talks to anything else, so audit prep becomes a weeks-long reconstruction project instead of pulling up a dashboard.
Compliance OS connects the nine things a privacy officer actually has to track into one Notion workspace, so a risk item links to the vendor it came from, which links to the BAA renewal date, which links to the audit checklist item it satisfies.
