I built CompanySearcher out of a simple frustration: every time I wanted to check a UK company, the answer was buried in raw Companies House filings — or locked behind an expensive subscription.
Companies House data is free and public, but it doesn't tell you what you actually want to know: is this company healthy? Filing on time? Who really controls it? Can I trust it?
So I built the layer on top. CompanySearcher parses the accounts of all 5.7M UK companies and turns them into a plain-English verdict — financial health grade, risk score, director networks, filing alerts — and keeps the public data free instead of paywalling what's already public.
