As a freelancer, I spent too many Friday evenings manually translating my Git history into status updates for non-technical clients. I lived in GitHub; they lived in their email. That translation gap was costing me hours of manual writing every week.
I built commitplain to solve this. It uses a "Soul Map" engine to index the project's architecture before analyzing commits, ensuring the AI understands the domain context first.
Privacy was my #1 priority: for the "Deep Code Analysis" feature, I ensured that code diffs are processed in RAM during the request and immediately discarded. No source code ever touches my database.
