ComeAndGo

Talk to anyone in any language without sharing your identity

ComeAndGo is a temporary space for conversations that don’t need to become permanent. Create a room, share a link, and start talking, no account or phone number required. Built-in translation lets people communicate across languages, while images can be shared when a picture says it better. You choose how long the room stays open, and when its time is up, the room disappears. General file sharing is deliberately not supported to reduce the risk of anonymous malware and harmful file distribution.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Aey, the maker of ComeAndGo. The idea came from a situation I kept running into: sometimes I need to talk to someone for just one thing — a seller, freelancer, vendor, or someone I’ve just met — but the usual solution is to give them a permanent way to reach me. A phone number. LINE. WhatsApp. A social account. That felt unnecessary for a conversation that might only need to exist for an hour. So I built ComeAndGo around a simple idea: Not every conversation needs to become a permanent connection. Create a room, share the link, and talk. There’s no account to create and no need to exchange personal contact details. Then another problem became important: language. If the other person speaks a different language, that shouldn’t stop a temporary conversation either. So translation became part of the experience, rather than something you have to do separately. I’ve also deliberately left some features out. ComeAndGo supports images, but not general file sharing. While researching temporary and anonymous communication services, I saw how easily file sharing could be abused to distribute harmful files. I don’t want ComeAndGo to become an anonymous file-transfer service. When the conversation has served its purpose, the room expires. I’m interested in learning how people actually use this. If you’ve ever thought, “I need to talk to this person, but I don’t want to give them my number,” I’d especially like to hear about that situation. Thanks for taking a look.
