Meet Colloqio, the revolutionary AI companion that runs 100% on your device. No cloud servers, no data collection, complete privacy. Your personal AI that remembers you, works offline, and keeps your conversations truly private. Coming soon to iOS.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Colloqio as a bit of an experiment—I wanted to see just how far I could push on-device AI. Could I create a genuinely useful AI chat experience that runs entirely on your phone, with no internet connection needed?
Turns out, you can get pretty far. The app runs lightweight language models locally, which means:
Complete privacy — your conversations never leave your device
Works anywhere — no WiFi, no mobile data, no problem
No ongoing costs — no API calls, no subscriptions eating into your wallet
It's not trying to replace ChatGPT for complex tasks, but for quick questions, brainstorming, or just having a capable AI assistant when you're offline (flights, remote areas, or just saving data), it does the job surprisingly well.
I'd love to hear what you think, and I'm curious—what would you use an offline AI assistant for? Any features you'd want to see added?
Happy to answer any questions about the tech or the build process!
