My journey with College Souk began after I graduated from college at the end of 2021. I envisioned a comprehensive app that would cater to students' needs throughout their four years at university. This vision encompasses three primary categories:
Social 🤝: Making friends and connecting with others during college can be challenging, especially for those who aren't involved in Greek life.
Housing 🏠: Finding suitable accommodation is a significant concern, particularly for international students like myself studying in the U.S. When I encountered this struggle, I realized the need for a student-friendly and budget-conscious platform. Souk fills this gap by offering a Zillow-like platform tailored specifically for students, allowing both landlords and current students to list their properties.
Marketplace 💰: We understand that everything seems to come with a hefty price tag, and students are often on tight budgets. Our marketplace enables students to buy and sell items among themselves, providing a potential avenue to alleviate the burden of exorbitant tuition fees.
