Coinly

All your grocery receipts in one place, from any store

Snap any grocery receipt from any store (or a screenshot of a digital one) and Coinly reads store, items and prices. From the very first receipt you see your weekly total, which stores you shop at and what you spend per category. Plus a shopping list you just dictate and a sticker album that fills up with real receipts. English and German, knows Walmart, Target, Trader Joe's, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and more. 3 free scans a week, no ads.

Hi Product Hunt! Solo dev from Germany here. My receipts ended up everywhere: in my wallet, in the Lidl app, the Rewe app, the dm app. And my bank statement only says "REWE 43.17", not whether that was vegetables or snacks. So I built Coinly: one place for every grocery receipt, from any store. You photograph the receipt (or a screenshot from a store app), Coinly reads the lines and shows your week, your stores and your categories right away. The shopping list is voice-first ("two tomatoes and a dozen eggs" just works), and a small sticker album rewards real receipts, no streaks, no guilt. Coinly started German-only. As of this week it speaks English too, with prices in your currency and US and UK stores. Receipts are very local, so if you scan one from your store, I would love to hear where Coinly gets it wrong. Happy to answer anything about the stack too (Expo/React Native, Amazon Textract, Claude Haiku for dictation).
