Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built CoinFee Guide because I got tired of every "top crypto
exchanges 2026" article being a barely-disguised affiliate dump.
Fee tables are out of date, rankings shift based on who's paying
the most, and beginners have no real way to compare exchanges
side by side.
So I built the version I wished existed.
What's on it:
🔍 Side-by-side comparisons of 9 major exchanges (Kraken, Coinbase,
Bybit, OKX, Binance, Binance.US, Gemini, KuCoin, MEXC)
💰 An interactive fee calculator — punch in your trade size and
frequency, see what each exchange would actually cost you per year
📚 50+ term glossary in plain English
🛒 45 "how to buy [coin] on [exchange]" step-by-step guides
✅ Affiliate links are disclosed and never influence rankings —
exchanges I have no partnership with rank above ones I do
Tech: Next.js 15, Tailwind, Vercel, Cloudflare. Built solo in
about 3 weeks.
A few things I learned along the way:
- Affiliate networks (FlexOffers, Impact) won't take you seriously
without a custom TLD. A .vercel.app subdomain got me rejected twice.
- JSON-LD structured data shows up in Google rich snippets within
days of sitemap submission — bigger SEO lift than I expected.
- The crypto-dark-mode aesthetic actually hurts trust with the
audience that needs the most help (older / new investors). The
Bankrate / NerdWallet light-theme look tests way better.
What's next: more exchanges (Crypto.com, Bitfinex), a tax-impact
calculator, and an alerts tool for when exchanges change their fees.
