Codex Pulse
Know your Codex and Claude limits before they run out
A native macOS dashboard for separate Codex and optional Claude Web quota windows, reset times, and pace forecasts. See the signal in your menu bar, desktop widget, and local-first dashboard.
I kept leaving a coding session to find out which AI limit would reset when. Codex Pulse puts separate Codex and optional Claude Web windows, reset times, and pace signals in a native macOS surface. It is a public, unsigned preview for macOS 13+ today: the source is open, the app stays local-first, and the install notes are explicit about what is and is not automatic. I'd love feedback on the dashboard, widget, and which quota signal is most useful in your flow.

Who hunted Codex Pulse?
Codex Pulse was hunted by Roman Sharafutdinov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
