Codex Limits
Track weekly Codex usage across all your accounts.
A native macOS menu-bar app and WidgetKit companion for tracking Codex rate limits, weekly token activity, reset times, credits, and multiple accounts.
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Mert, the maker of Codex Limits 👋
I built Codex Limits because I use multiple Codex accounts and wanted a simple way to see how much usage I had left on each one, when the limits would reset, and which account I should switch to next.
Codex Limits brings all of your accounts into one clean macOS menu bar app. You can view remaining usage, reset times, and account status at a glance, or keep everything visible with the desktop widget.
Unlike broader usage trackers that support many different AI providers, Codex Limits is intentionally focused only on Codex. I wanted the experience to stay simple, visual, and useful without adding unnecessary complexity.
It uses your existing local Codex sessions and never reads or stores your authentication tokens.
I’d love to hear from other Codex users: how do you currently keep track of your limits, and what would make Codex Limits more useful for you?
