CodeFocus
Phone time while your AI codes. Locks when it stops.
CodeFocus locks the apps that eat your day (TikTok, Instagram, whatever) and only unlocks them while an AI coding agent like Claude Code is actually running on your Mac. It stops, your apps lock. No willpower. Pure leverage.
Okay, confession time. My AI agent does the actual work now and I mostly just sit there and watch. Claude Code is over there shipping features and I'm on the couch doing my fourth lap through TikTok.
At some point it hit me that the agent has more self control than I do. Embarrassing. So I did the only mature, reasonable thing a grown adult could do. I built an app that takes my phone hostage, and only Claude Code can pay the ransom.
Here is how it works. CodeFocus locks the apps that quietly eat your whole day (TikTok, Instagram, whatever your poison is). They only unlock while Claude Code is actually running on your Mac. Your Mac quietly tells your phone "yeah he's working" over Bluetooth, and your apps open up. The moment the agent stops, the jail slams shut and you are back in prison.
So now I genuinely cannot scroll unless I am shipping. It is the dumbest thing I have ever built and it works disgustingly well. Screen time down, commits up, and I have never felt more judged by my own laptop.
Quick facts: fully local, collects nothing, works only with Claude Code (it basically stalks what Claude is up to), and setup is the app plus one line you paste into your Mac.
And yes, it costs a little money. I am one tired developer, not a startup with funding, and somehow my Claude Code bill is now bigger than my rent. There is a free trial though, so you can confirm it really does lock your apps before you trust me with a single cent.
Would genuinely love your most brutal feedback. And drop the funniest block screen message you would want to see when you try to sneak onto Instagram. Best one actually ships in the next update.

Who hunted CodeFocus?
CodeFocus was hunted by Jonas Muth. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
