I built CloudQuell after seeing the same problem at company after company: cloud + AI spend kept climbing, but nobody actually owned it.
A couple of years ago AI costs were almost invisible. Today they're often a top-five line item, spread across OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Snowflake, and the AWS bill underneath. When finance asks "What are we actually spending on AI, and why did it jump?" the honest answer at many companies is still spreadsheets.
CloudQuell puts every cloud and AI dollar on one ledger. It flags anomalies, allocates spend back to teams, and helps answer who spent what and why. Instead of charging a percentage of your cloud bill, it's flat-priced: free under $10k/month, then $99 or $199 depending on spend.
One feature I'm especially proud of is the MCP server. If you're already using Claude or Cursor, you can simply ask questions like "Which team's spend jumped last week, and why?" instead of building reports yourself.
There's also a live demo on sample data (it currently asks for an email, no account required).
I'm building this solo and would genuinely love feedback, especially from anyone dealing with cloud or AI costs. Would flat pricing change how you'd evaluate a FinOps tool, or is there something you'd still want to see?
