Hi Product Hunt
I'm Ansh, a 19-year-old cricket obsessive. Over a gap year before starting a maths degree, I built Fine Margins, a Test cricket analytics platform running on Bayesian models I made from ball-by-ball data.
Close Calls is the game I built on top of it. You take over real Test matches at their tensest moments and play them out ball by ball, on the actual match engine, then see how your version compares to what really happened. There are over 1,500 moments in it.
It started as a way to make the analytics playable and turned into something I'm genuinely proud of. Would love to hear what you think, especially from anyone who knows their cricket, and anyone who doesn't but gives it a go anyway.
