ClipLens

A local-first clipboard manager for Windows

ClipLens is a Windows clipboard manager, but the angle is "smart actions": Free, in beta. AI actions are coming but not live yet (kept the current build fully offline on purpose).

Solo dev, first real launch, so be honest with me. ClipLens is a Windows clipboard manager, but the angle is "smart actions": copy a hex color and it shows a swatch + RGB/HSL, copy JSON it formats it, copy a math expression it solves it, copy a URL you get a QR / one-click open. Normal stuff too: searchable history, tags, categories, most-copied. Big thing for me: it's 100% local. SQLite on your machine, encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), no account, no cloud, no telemetry. Optional password lock. I didn't want my clipboard history living on someone's server. Free, in beta. AI actions are coming but not live yet (kept the current build fully offline on purpose). Download: https://cliplens.dev What would actually make you use this over Win+V? Tear it apart.

Who hunted ClipLens?

ClipLens was hunted by Xuupu theman. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
