ClipLab Pro
AI gameplay editor that runs entirely on your PC
I had 247 gameplay clips on my PC and published zero — editing was the bottleneck. So I built ClipLab Pro. Drop in a raw recording: it finds the highlights (scene cuts, audio spikes, speech, a local vision model), cuts a timeline you can edit, burns in captions, and exports an MP4. Everything runs on your own GPU — footage never leaves your machine. No cloud, no account, no per-minute billing. $49 once, free 14-day trial, Windows. If I vanish tomorrow, your copy keeps working.
Hey PH 👋 solo dev here.
I built ClipLab Pro because I had 247 gameplay clips sitting on my PC and had published zero of them. Every time I opened a real editor I'd cut three clips, get bored, and let the project rot for six weeks. The AI editors that exist (Opus, Submagic, etc.) upload your footage to a server, charge per minute, and don't know what a gaming highlight looks like.
So I made the one I wanted: you drop in a raw recording, and it finds the highlights — scene cuts, audio spikes, speech, and a local vision model all vote — cuts a timeline you can edit, captions it, and exports. The part I care about most: everything runs on your own GPU. Your footage never leaves your machine, there's no account, and there's no subscription. $49 once, free 14-day trial, and if I vanish tomorrow the copy on your machine still works.
Honest about where it is: it's Windows-only, it's early (I've broken it plenty), and it's tuned for gameplay — if you're editing podcasts or talking-head video, this isn't for you. If you've got a Shadowplay/Medal folder full of clips you'll never edit, it very much is.
I'm here all day — tear it apart, ask me anything, tell me what's broken. 🙏
