Find gaming highlights and turn them into short clips
ClickClips is a Windows desktop clipping tool for streamers and gaming creators. Find highlights using AI, audio peaks, or speech detection, turn long recordings into vertical or horizontal clips, add layouts and subtitles, and process everything locally without cloud uploads or token-based limits.
I built ClickClips because turning long gaming recordings and streams into short clips was taking too much time. I wanted a tool that could help find interesting moments automatically, without uploading hours of video to the cloud or dealing with usage-based limits.
ClickClips started as a simple clipping workflow and gradually evolved into a Windows desktop app with audio, speech, and AI-assisted highlight detection, batch processing, vertical and horizontal layouts, subtitles, and local rendering.
The main idea is still the same: help streamers and gaming creators go from hours of raw footage to usable clips much faster, while keeping the whole workflow local.
I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially from streamers and creators who regularly work with long recordings.
