ClearMX
Email verification that explains every verdict
ClearMX verifies individual emails, CSV lists, and signups through a REST API. It checks syntax, MX, disposable, role, catch-all, and mailbox signals, then returns a verdict, 0–100 score, and a plain reason. When a mailbox cannot be confirmed, ClearMX says unknown instead of guessing. Start with 100 free verifications; Product Hunt users get 500 total with code PRODUCTHUNT500. Credits never expire.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m Vedran, the founder of ClearMX.
I built it after repeatedly seeing email verification tools return confident “deliverable” answers for addresses they could not really confirm, especially on catch-all domains and providers that block mailbox probes. That confidence looks useful until the campaign goes out and the bounces arrive.
ClearMX shows the checks behind every result: syntax, MX, disposable, role, catch-all and mailbox signals. You get a verdict, a 0–100 score and a plain reason. When the evidence is inconclusive, it returns unknown instead of inventing certainty.
You can try one address without signing up, upload a CSV, or use the same checks through the REST API. Credits are pay as you go and never expire.
For this launch, new accounts normally start with 100 free verifications. Code PRODUCTHUNT500 raises the total welcome allocation to 500; it adds 400 once and does not renew monthly.
If you try ClearMX, I’d especially value feedback on whether the reasons are clear enough to make a send, suppress or review decision without opening documentation.

Who hunted ClearMX?
ClearMX was hunted by Vedran Marčetić. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
