clausio
AI contract review inside Microsoft Word for law firms
Clausio is a Microsoft Word plugin for contract review. It compares the client's version against your firm's template, highlights every change, and flags risky clauses by severity — critical, high, medium, low. For each flagged clause, it generates a counter-proposal in legal language, ready to approve or edit. No copy-pasting. No switching apps. Everything happens inside Word's task pane. Lawyer approves every suggestion before anything changes. Free 14-day trial for law firms.
I built Clausio after a single conversation with a law firm.
They were interested in my previous product - OPSENSE a Gmail and Outlook plugin. They liked it, but said: "We don't need this for email. We need it for contracts."
So I pivoted. Now, Clausio runs inside Microsoft Word as a task pane plugin. Load your firm's template, open the client's version - Clausio compares them clause by clause, flags what changed and how risky it is (critical / high / medium / low), and suggests counter-proposals in legal language.
The one rule I never compromised on: every AI suggestion requires explicit lawyer approval. Nothing changes in the document automatically. The lawyer stays in control.
Currently running free 14-day trial with law firms in Poland and CEE. If you work in legal and want to try it - happy to set you up. Ask me anything below.
